Moving to Chile is a project. Daily life here is the hard part.

When you relocate for work, you usually get past the transition quickly: you have colleagues, a routine, and a business you know. The change is harder for your partner, who has to figure out a new city, often in a language they are still learning, with no address book to call on. And daily life keeps throwing challenges at both of you: the landlord won't fix the heating and only answers in Spanish, you need a reliable doctor but don't know who to trust, you need to transfer money and every option has different conditions. Expat Support is a monthly membership built for exactly these situations: up to 10 requests per month, whatever you need, from finding a plumber to understanding a tax notice.

This service is for you if

Your schedule doesn't leave you time to handle personal admin in a country you are still learning

You want vetted recommendations from people who live here, not random Google results

Your partner or family needs support during the day while you are at work

You don't speak Spanish well enough yet to deal with a landlord or find the right specialist

What we handle for you

One membership, up to 10 requests per month, whatever daily life throws at you.

01

Housing

When something goes wrong at home, you have someone to call who speaks the landlord's language.

  • A problem in your home? We contact the landlord or the real estate agency and work out how to solve it
  • A water leak or a broken heater? We recommend a serious maintenance service to take care of it
  • Your lease ends soon? We help you weigh the options to renew or terminate it correctly
  • Moving to another home? We help you inform the administration and utility companies
02

Money, legal & admin

For the questions that keep you up at night, we connect you with the right professional.

  • Introductions to qualified Chilean attorneys, tax advisors, and accountants when you need one
  • Help planning retirement or organizing your financial assets through trusted specialists
  • The most suitable way to transfer funds from or to Chile, depending on your situation
  • Help navigating the healthcare system: FONASA or ISAPRE registration, providers, and appointments
03

Work & language

Settling in professionally goes faster with local contacts and someone to bridge the language gap.

  • Job search support: resume adaptation for the Chilean market, coaching, and networking introductions
  • Contacts of language schools if you want to improve your Spanish
  • Bilingual support, including accompaniment to important appointments when language is a barrier
  • Qualified translators and interpreters for documents and official procedures
04

Family & daily life

The small things add up. We share our address book so you stop guessing.

  • A babysitter for your children, or a pet sitter so your dog gets exercise while you work
  • Venues and catering services when you want to organize a birthday or a party
  • Recommendations for shops, culture, libraries, and after-school activities for kids

Service overview

We guarantee a response within 24 hours for all support requests during business days. Urgent matters are prioritized and usually handled faster.

The membership includes up to 10 support requests per month, covering housing assistance, personal organization, service recommendations, administrative help, and general guidance. It also includes access to our vetted partner network and priority response times.

We primarily serve the Santiago metropolitan region. For other areas of Chile, we provide remote assistance and recommendations through our partner network. Most services are optimized for major urban centers.

All partner service providers undergo thorough screening, including reference checks, credential verification, and quality assessments. We maintain ongoing relationships with trusted professionals and regularly evaluate performance based on client feedback and service standards.

Membership

Yes, you can adjust your support plan with 30 days' notice. We offer levels ranging from basic monthly support to comprehensive annual packages, and we help you choose the right one for your needs. Changes take effect the following month.

We can still handle requests beyond your monthly limit. We always inform you and get your approval before proceeding, and if you regularly need more than 10 requests, we will suggest moving to a higher tier plan.

For medical or safety emergencies, always contact Chilean emergency services first (131 ambulance, 133 police). For urgent member situations such as a housing crisis or a legal deadline, flag the request as urgent: we prioritize it and connect you with the appropriate local services as fast as we can.

We don't provide direct legal or tax services, but we maintain relationships with qualified Chilean attorneys, tax advisors, and accountants. We facilitate introductions, help explain your needs, and coordinate appointments with the right professional. While some may offer a first free consultation, please note that advisory by third-party specialists are not part of this service.

Practical support

Yes. We provide job search support including resume adaptation for the Chilean market, interview preparation, networking introductions, and industry-specific guidance. We work with recruitment professionals and can help you navigate work permit requirements.

Absolutely. We help you navigate Chile's healthcare system, assist with FONASA or ISAPRE registration, recommend healthcare providers, and coordinate medical appointments. We also explain insurance options so you understand what your coverage includes.
