Why corporate relocations fail, and how we keep yours on track

When an employee moves to Chile, a lot has to happen in a short window: a visa for the whole family, a home in the right neighborhood, schools for the children, and a city where most things require Spanish. Handled badly, productivity drops while your employee fights housing and paperwork, and family dissatisfaction leads to early assignment termination, which costs more than the relocation itself. We have been handling corporate relocations since 2016. You get one accountable provider and a clear view of where every case stands. Your employee gets one point of contact.

This service is for you if

You are an HR team or global mobility manager relocating one employee, or a whole team, to Chile

You want a single accountable provider for visas, housing, schools, and settling-in, instead of coordinating separate local vendors in Spanish

You need to commit to a start date internally, so you want a realistic timeline upfront and a clear status on every case

You know assignments fail when families struggle, and you want your employee productive from day one, not dealing with housing or visa problems

What we handle for your employees

A single point of contact, from the visa application to a settled family.

01

Visas & work permits

Every employee gets the right permit, with all family members included in the same process.

  • All visa categories, prepared, filed, and followed up with the immigration service, as detailed on our visa & residency service
  • A work permit filed alongside the visa application when someone needs to start quickly, so they can work legally in Chile from day one
  • Family members handled together with the employee, so nobody's paperwork lags behind
02

Housing & temporary accommodation

A home in the right neighborhood, at a fair price, without the usual obstacles foreign tenants face.

  • Temporary accommodation on arrival, so the family doesn't rush the housing decision
  • A home search at fair market prices, with contract negotiation handled
  • Guarantor alternatives, since most landlords ask foreign tenants for a local guarantor they don't have
  • Applications presented through us as a relocation agency, which realtors are more likely to accept from a foreign tenant
03

School search

The right school for each child, with the application process managed end to end.

  • School search and application management for 30+ international schools
  • Exam scheduling and waitlist tracking, so deadlines are never missed
  • Honest guidance on options and timing: starting 4 to 5 months in advance opens the best choices
04

Settling-in & ongoing support

The practical setup handled, so your employee can focus on the job from day one.

  • Settling-in package: bank accounts, utilities, phone contracts, and registrations
  • Ongoing expat support for day-to-day issues during the assignment, especially valuable for accompanying partners navigating the city
  • Cultural orientation and Spanish training arranged through our partner network

Service overview

Two clocks run in parallel. The on-the-ground work (housing, schools, settling-in) typically takes 8 to 12 weeks. Visa processing is set by the immigration service and currently takes several months for residence permits, so we start the visa workstream first and file work permits alongside, allowing employees to start as early as legally possible. We provide a detailed project timeline during the initial consultation, so you can plan start dates with confidence.

Family members are included throughout: visa applications for the whole family, school placement for children, orientation for accompanying partners, and ongoing support during the assignment. Successful relocations depend on family satisfaction, so we treat the family's installation with the same priority as the employee's.

Service management

We never had such situation. There are several steps before an application is rejected: the immigration service first requests additional documents, then sends a pre-rejection notice, which give enough opportunity to adjust the documentation if needed. If a rejection does occur, we immediately handle the appeal or reapplication, and explore alternative visa categories where they fit the case.

Yes. We can arrange cultural orientation programs and Spanish training through our partner network. These services help employees and families adapt quickly to Chilean culture and business practices.

We maintain strict confidentiality protocols for all relocations, with enhanced measures for sensitive cases. For executive or high-profile relocations, we can sign NDAs.
