What needs to be set up after you arrive
Opening a bank account, getting a phone contract, and activating gas, electricity, and internet can take time. Many services require a RUT that you may not have yet, and most counters and call centers operate only in Spanish.
We explain what can be prepared before arrival and coordinate the remaining steps during your first weeks in Chile. You receive a SIM card and temporary phone on day one. Most other services are completed within 1 to 2 weeks.
