Hi. I have recently found out I am pregnant and want to know if anyone can recommend a clinic. I have looked at a number of clinics but have been put off by claims shown on the Reclamos site. I know that any clinic could have some claims put in against them but it does make it harder for me to choose. If anyone has had a baby in Chile, or knows someone who has, and they were pleased with the care they got I would be very grateful for recommendations.

Some friends came back from Clinica Las Condes very happy with the experience.
not cheap, but about as american an experience as you can get here. (not sure that's always a good thing)Posted 2 years ago # -
I had one baby at the Clínica Santa María and one at Indisa (because the Santa María was full when I went into labor). Both experiences were fine; good facilities, good nurses. One thing to keep in mind is that your whole medical team (ob-gyn, midwife, anesthesiologist, pediatrician) will go to whatever clinic you go to and be in charge of what happens there, so in my opinion it's much more important that you find an ob-gyn you like and trust. Email me directly for more detail.
